We are at the end of this wonderful journey to Incredible India. India is beyond the 26 alphabets and so is her rich culture, heritage and the problems she is facing.
As Shashi Tharoor rightly put it,

“India is not, as people keep calling it, an underdeveloped country, but rather, in the context of its history and cultural heritage, a highly developed one in an advanced state of decay.”

Let us treat our guests with respect and handle our heritage with care. Let the government do its job and let us do ours by not dirtying surroundings. Please spare the monuments by engraving your names, it reflects a very bad state of mind.

As far as my journey with my humble abode and you are concerned it was one amazing journey, power packed and soothing at the same time.  A style of writing that I have never tried before. Personal experiences, findings and learnings I have poured. The posts that were presented to you on the platter were not easy for me to write. I have travelled with my family most of the times and my granny accompanied us for every trip as long as she was alive and the posts triggered all the good old memories. The tips which are neatly written down as lists in few posts is her experience and meticulous planning passed down to me.  Post her death, we visited some beautiful places and there was a void that nothing  could fill. We wished she experienced what we did, the beautiful road trips, snow clad mountains, new cuisines and the much-required family time.

A bug bit me when I was very small and I did not become any bug-woman like the spider-man but it left me  wanderlust. In the twenty-six posts are my experiences and journeys in brief. The zeal and zest that each trip gave me filled me with more of it. When you are unable to travel this zest keeps you going and the memories ease the present hardships. Travelling is like life, one needs to start and then even though you wander and feel lost , you are never lost. You are going where you are destined to.  We meet many people on our way, and some relationships just click some are baggage that is meant to be dropped and forgotten.

All one needs is zest and the mild zephyr embracing them. The elixir to positivity, happiness and experience. Problems shall knock your door , circumstances will knock you down, work will pile up but make time for yourself and your family and visit places with them. There is a unique experience in travelling alone. Weekend getaways are rejuvenating and soul-filling. Give Twitter, WhatsApp, Facebook  and Instagram some rest and create memories, explore places and meet people. We haven’t seen what’s in store for tomorrow so  let us make maximum use of today.

Patience, benevolence, love and travel will make you reach your zenith. Travels and the idea of it itself give me  the feeling of zenith.

WE haven’t visited many wonders that the country offers, but I hope my diary inspires you to travel and explore, moreover live life on your own terms.

The journey that we embarked was beautiful, tough and fulfilling for me. How was it for you? Was the journey compelling enough to get your backpacks ready ? What is it that you liked or hated the most with me in this journey. Fill all your love in the comment box, a disappointment if any too. I hope there aren’t many.

P.S. : Thank you for being a part of the journey, commenting and inspiring. The support kept me going, so a big thank you again!
