β€œChange is never painful, only the resistance to change is painful.”
― Demi Lovato

When we enter our twenties, the world around us changes, we change, our friends change, everything that we could possibly never imagine that would change also changes. While everyone believes that teenagers give a tough time to parents, the twenties is a tough time to the individual themselves.

We are pushed from spoon feeding to living alone, pampered environment to a hostile place. While change is essential, not everyone can cope up with it in the right spirit. The resistance to change is very powerful, you are so cosy in your comfort zone that you don’t see change as a good thing. You see it as a couch potato being told to exercise for 2 hours a day. Instead of choosing to see the new change of activity as a good thing, you see it as a burden and try to resist the change.

But to improve, to go ahead, to let go and to be a better you, you need to get used to changes, come out of the space that has always shielded you. The twenties is a period of trying, exploring and living life to the fullest. If you don’t give change a chance, how can you see its magic?

Embrace changes as it comes, for change is the only constant, no?
